English buying guide

Installing a concealed vehicle GPS tracker.

Concealment is useful only if the tracker still receives a position and mobile signal. Large metal enclosures, unsuitable mounting and nearby electrical components can affect operation. Consult the installation guidance for the exact model and check reception at the intended position before final mounting.

What to check

Avoid airbags, pedals, steering components, heat sources and moving parts. Secure the device and cables so they cannot come loose or interfere with driving. For a hardwired unit, use an appropriate protected supply and a competent installer when the wiring is unfamiliar.

Before you rely on it

After installation, check a parked position, movement notifications and the response to a power interruption where the manufacturer permits it. Keep installation details private. Track only vehicles you are entitled to monitor, with the appropriate agreement of other users where required.
