English buying guide

Choosing a GPS tracker for your dog.

The best fit depends on the dog, the walks and the person using the app. Compare tracker weight and attachment first, then location delivery, battery maintenance and subscription cost. A larger battery is not automatically a better choice for a small dog.

What to check

Our dog category includes connected pet models with different form factors and services. Compare the exact model and generation; a generic brand listing can describe a different device. Manufacturer battery claims are not measurements from our own field tests.

Before you rely on it

Choose a shortlist and check mobile coverage near home and along regular walks. Review how live tracking and boundary notifications are enabled. A useful purchase is one you can keep comfortably attached, charged and connected, with a plan for what to do when an update is delayed.
