Your tracker shows stolen property: what to do.

If you believe a tracked item has been stolen, prioritise personal safety. Save the latest location, timestamp and relevant movement history, then contact the police through the appropriate local channel. Do not enter private property or confront a suspected thief.

What to check

Location accuracy and update delays matter: a map point cannot establish who possesses the item or identify an exact room. Give the police serial numbers, ownership evidence and the tracker details. Follow their instructions about sharing live information.

Before you rely on it

Report the theft to an insurer where relevant and retain the requested evidence. Keep the tracker account secure and avoid publishing a suspected person’s address or accusations online. Tracking can help an investigation, but it is not authority to carry out a recovery yourself.
